The name “Tokyo Gate Bridge” was given from the open call for participants. It is also called the Dinosaur Bridge because it has a unique shape that makes it look like dinosaurs are facing each other. It is a part of the Tokyo Port coastal road that connects Wakasu, Koto-ku and Jonanjima, Ota-ku, about 8km, and is a truss bridge with a total length of 2,618m.
