Rainbow Bridge is a suspension bridge that connects the Shibaura district of Minato-ku and the Daiba district of Tokyo (Minato-ku Daiba and Koto-ku Ariake). Construction started in 1987, completed in 1993, and opened on August 26 of the same year. The name of “Rainbow Bridge”, which is a nickname decided by open call for participants, and the official name is “Tokyo Port Connecting Bridge”.
